Responsibilities

Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of issues

Review and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions

Assist design engineers with design and manufacture of new products and special one-off equipment

Review areas of the business that could benefit from continuous improvement and core lean tools

Work as part of a cross-functional team to develop turnkey solutions

Support the creation of reports for potential investments in new machinery and equipment

Stay current with industry trends and best practices in manufacturing technology and process optimization

Required

Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a production engineering role

Excellent understanding of design and engineering manufacturing processes

Engineering qualification or qualified through experience

Computer literate with knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Microsoft packages

Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities

Ability to plan and prioritise tasks

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to collaborate effectively

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Preferred

Experience in pneumatics and electric circuits
