Responsibilities

Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and correspondence for use in state and federal court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.

Draft and respond to complex discovery requests.

Confer, negotiate, and communicate with opposing counsel.

Prepare for, defend, and conduct depositions.

Prepare for and present oral argument at hearings.

Prepare for trial, including exhibit lists, evidentiary objections, motions in limine, and witness preparation.

Prepare appellate briefs.

Required

Two to five years of trademark, copyright, and entertainment litigation and counseling experience

Significant experience with drafting and responding to pleadings, preparing and responding to discovery, drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, working with experts, and overall litigation and counseling strategy

Trial experience is a plus

Strong academic credentials

Superb judgment and communication skills

Commitment to providing excellent client services
