Responsibilities

Work with Information Technology (IT) and vendors to manage major incidents and issues.
Partner with internal development and support teams to ensure platform stability and continuity of day-to-day activities.
Collaborate with various departments to provide input and assistance with complex projects and improvements to existing platforms and tools.
Maintain training materials and procedure documentation, train team members, and support improvement of their skills.
Elicit requirements from branch users and operations, critically evaluate information gathered, and distinguish user requests from organizational needs.
Proactively communicate and collaborate with external vendors and internal employees to analyze information needs and functional requirements.
Interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
Serve as a conduit between the company and external software development team, collaborate with developers and subject matter experts, and troubleshoot product issues.
Co-develop training documents and live training with the Manager.
Perform any other duties and special projects as necessary.

Required

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field is preferred
Previous experience in a securities industry, front or back office, and working knowledge of the securities industry, financial markets and its products, preferred.
Successful completion of the FINRA General Securities Representative Exam (Series 7) and/or FINRA Operations Principal Exam (Series 99), encouraged
Experience interpreting, modifying, and creating detailed business requirements for new integration and workflows.
Strong analytical, product management and organizational skills and attention to detail
Logical problem solver. Ability to learn quickly in a fast moving environment
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a sometimes stressful situation
Proficient computer skills with regards to Microsoft Office, the Internet, Intranet, Outlook and the back office operations system
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to achieve goals and resolve problems, proactive and self-motivated
Manage with integrity, honesty and knowledge to promote the culture, values and mission of Davidson
Ability to follow policies and procedures; maintain client confidentiality
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to communicate and present technical requirements and dependencies, in person, online and over the phone.
Ability to proactively work with both external and internal clients; relate with others in a professional manner in order to accomplish work responsibilities and objectives
Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance

Preferred

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
