Responsibilities
Task and project-level responsibility for scoping, performing, managing, and delivering multiple concurrent project assignments;
Support broadening our practice through recruiting, team development, and mentorship;
Evaluation of geotechnical aspects of projects consisting of earthen embankments and related infrastructure;
Performing risk analysis, risk-informed decision making, and other aspects of risk practice for dams and related infrastructure;
Providing geotechnical site characterization and evaluation;
Conducting fieldwork and overnight travel (e.g., site inspections for dams).
Assisting with developing business opportunities with new and existing clients and preparing associated proposals; and
Assisting with preparation of engineering reports, design calculations, drawings, and technical specifications.
Prepare and deliver presentations and engage in technical discussions with colleagues and clients; and
Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing may be required.

Required
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, earth sciences, or related field
At least 7 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Excellent writing and communication skills
Experience with multi-disciplinary project teams
Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel
Preferred
Advanced degree in civil engineering, earth sciences, or related field
Professional registration (i.e., P.E.)
Experience with modeling/design tools such as AUTOCAD, Slope/W, Sigma/W, FLAC, and ARCGIS
Regional visibility through involvement in professional associations or trade organizations
