Responsibilities

Manage course design and development projects

Lead individual course development teams

Structure content and activities; develop assessments; adapt instructional materials; and create media

Identify opportunities to leverage generative AI for course development

Provide consultation and support to faculty

Conduct course reviews to ensure alignment, outcomes, engagement, and ADA compliance

Write training materials and deliver training experiences

Maintain currency with best practices and emerging technology

Required

Master's degree in Instructional Design or Instructional Technology.

A minimum of 5 years experience working with faculty in a higher education environment required.

Knowledge and application of leading Instructional Design models required.

Background in usability and experience design, information design and communications.

Experience in developing instructor-led, online and mobile training courses.

Experience with elearning technology platforms and learning management systems.

Expertise creating accessible and usable Web pages.

Skilled in HTML, CSS, and editing tools for Web text and graphics.

Experience with Microsoft Office or Google Apps required.

Strong attention to detail and deadlines; excellent file management, documentation, project management, writing, editing, collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills; positive approach to customer service.

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to communicate effectively in visual, oral and written form.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
