Responsibilities

Responsible for researching and developing wireless technologies for optimizing and maintaining networks.

Integrating wireless equipment with WAN and security infrastructure.

Optimizing wireless performance while meeting security requirements.

Installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and modifying wireless network hardware and software.

Providing tier 3 support for LAN/WLAN networks and client devices.

Documenting installed networks and maintaining security and integrity of wireless hardware and software.

Assisting in project plans, designs, and providing technical support to deployed teams.

Required

Bachelor’s Degree, or a AS/AA or two-year Tech School with 8 years of experience; or HS/GED with 10 years of experience; or a BA in a relevant technical area with 5 years of experience.

A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in wireless and network communications industry is required

Security + / DoD 8140 certification level IAT-I (must have within 3 months of hire)

Aruba Certified Mobility Expert v8.x (ACMX) or Aruba Certified Design Expert (ACDX)

Aruba Certified Switch Professional (ACSP) (must have within 4 months of hire)

Proficiency with Aruba’s Airwave management platform

Knowledge of DNS & DHCP functions

Aruba Certified ClearPass Professional (ACCP)

Aruba Certified Mobility Expert (ACMX) (8.x Code Version)

Aruba Certified Design Professional (ACDP)

Certified Wireless Network Professional (CWNP) or equivalent

Certified Cisco Networking Professional (CCNP)

Must possess a DOD Secret security clearance or have the ability to obtain one and/or pass an equivalent criminal/employment/education background check

Must be able to be stand, stoop, walk and climb ladders as required

Must be able to lift 35 lbs
