Responsibilities
Develop code and unit testing scripts.
Implement critical software or system changes and research new technology tools.
Identify issues, requirements, and opportunities for improvement.
Write test and use cases, drive quality assurance through testing, and prepare required documentation.
Provide initial research, evaluate new technologies, and prepare design specifications.
Participate in the design of software tools and subsystems, and plan daily activities within company guidelines.
Aid in self-development through training, manage multiple projects, and interact effectively with all levels of the organization.

Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline; or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
Experience (at least 7 years) in Core Java, J2EE, Java Server Pages, Servlets, Enterprise Java Beans, Spring and other frameworks, HTML, XML / XSLT, SOAP/REST, CSS2, DHTML, UML and JavaScript required.
Working knowledge and experience with Agile development processes.
Strong experience in Spring Framework such as Spring MVC, IOC, AOP and Spring JDBC.
Application server administration (Wildfly, Glassfish, and Tomcat).
Proficient knowledge and understanding of software testing concepts, practices, and procedures.
Operational knowledge and understanding of the various phases of Java development with ability to apply to government documentation standards.
Ability to work independently on modules, large subroutines, or small applications.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to assess business requirements.
Ability to learn and apply new knowledge in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organization skills with ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Excellent verbal, written and graphics communications skills.
Excellent customer service skills and ability to effectively interact with management and staff at all levels within a multi-level organization.
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment for the successful achievement of goals and objectives.
