Responsibilities
Developing and implementing communication strategies to support the HR team and roll out a new major Human Resources-focused IT platform
Supporting internal newsletter development, as needed
Creating engaging content for various channels, including intranet, email, Viva Engage, and live and virtual meetings
Creating interesting and dynamic mass emails, including leveraging the mass email tool, Poppulo
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment
Monitoring and analyzing communication metrics to measure the effectiveness of strategies

Required
Bachelor's degree in Communications or a related field
3+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or a similar role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred
Storytelling ability and writing skills, with ability to quickly develop clear, concise messages
Experience in corporate communications or internal communications
Knowledge of digital marketing and social media strategies
Strong project management skills
Intimate understanding of how best to leverage channels such as Yammer to promote employee engagement
Drafting and Editing: The ability to create and refine written content, including emails, video scripts, and meeting notices. Attention to detail is crucial here
Familiarity with Mass Email Tools: Experience using tools like Populo for managing mass email communications. Additionally, proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications (Teams, Outlook) is valuable
Understanding of Communications Strategy: Being able to execute communications based on an existing plan and collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and effective messaging
Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in communication materials, especially when editing and formatting content
Collaboration and Teamwork
Project Management: Candidates who can effectively manage communications projects, coordinate timelines, and work collaboratively with stakeholders
Adaptability: Given the dynamic nature of communications, individuals who can adapt to changing priorities and requirements are essential
Analytical Thinking: The ability to analyze communication effectiveness, track metrics, and make data-driven decisions
