Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailed work instructions for assigned products/processes.
Provide suggestions to improve productivity.
Compile and analyze processing data.
Investigate manufacturing problems and implement corrective actions.
Support proposal and development activities.
Provide day to day support to manufacturing personnel.
Coordinate with design engineering on design and manufacturability issues.
Evaluate discrepant hardware.
Research and evaluate commercially available tools and equipment to support manufacturing processes.
Troubleshoot existing processes to improve safety, quality, cost, and efficiency.
Incorporate engineering changes on work in process.

Required
BS in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or similar Engineering discipline or 4 years of direct experience and meeting the skill requirements In lieu of a degree.
Proven ability to manage time and resources to meet schedule and cost goals.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience interpreting drawings and specifications.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).
Demonstrated work ethic.
Willingness and ability to perform hands-on work.
Preferred
Experience with rocket motor manufacturing or comparable manufacturing processes.
Experience with a variety of systems (i.e. pneumatic, hydraulic and electronic).
Experience with project management.
Demonstrated work ethic and hands-on ability.
Experience with technical writing, writing detailed operating procedures, CAD and GD&T.
Experience using SPC and Six Sigma techniques.
