Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business problems, review requirements, design, develop, test, and deploy services and systems.

Lead in performing design and code reviews, ensuring high quality, availability, scalability, and performance.

Create large-sized, complex applications, services, and systems.

Lead in various layers of the tech stack, from front-end development to back-end services and data platform.

Required

At least 10+ years of relevant industry experience in building highly available systems.

Demonstrated end-to-end ownership from inception to deployment of complex project in production.

Effective problem-solving skills, ability to make design tradeoffs, balancing the long-term 'big picture' and short-term implications of design decisions.

Understanding of cloud technology (architecture and deployments), including - Azure Offerings, Cloud storage, Cloud security, Cloud migration

Expertise with Relational and NoSQL Database.

Experience with CI/CD and operational excellence best practices.

Experience with backend languages such as Java, Python or NodeJs

Experience with third-party integrations via libraries, SDKs and APIs

Effective communication and collaboration skills, including consensus building, conflict resolution, influence, and persuasion skills.

Mentoring/coaching junior engineers in technical problem solving and career advancement.

Preferred

Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years' experience in software engineering or related area.

Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.

Knowledge of accessibility best practices and ability to create accessible products and services following Walmart's accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
