Responsibilities
Supervises Receivers by assigning and prioritizing workload and ensuring tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Works with Store Manager to prepare Receiver work schedules and adjust as needed to meet the needs of the store.
Handles all administrative tasks that pertain to the receipt and/or shipment of goods.
Accurately processes defective merchandise according to established procedures.
Processes theft, damage, and other applicable types of shrinkage that occur within the store.
Acts as the primary contact for the yearly full inventory count.
Trains and mentors all new-hire, existing, and back-up receivers within the store.
Reduces the potential for fraud and injury by maintaining a clean, organized, and controlled work environment.

Required
Three (3) years receiving or inventory experience, with at least one year at McLendon Hardware preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must be dependable, detail oriented, process oriented, and driven for success.
Must be able to stand, walk, bend and lift merchandise up to 35lbs.
Must have moderate computer knowledge including general typing and ten key skills. This includes competency with Activant Eagle, and Microsoft Office-like products.
Must have the ability to read and write English and have proficient math skills.
Due to the nature and responsibilities of this position, dependable regular attendance is required.
