Responsibilities

Execute the end-to-end development process, from ideation through deployment, ensuring high-quality standards in coding and testing.

Take full ownership of the development lifecycle for all new features, from initial coding through to deployment, adhering to high standards of quality and performance.

Actively manage a bug tracking system, prioritizing and resolving issues efficiently to maintain a seamless user experience.

Refactoring legacy code with particular attention to backwards compatibility.

When tickets are escalated, debug customer issues in our help desk.

Provide technical insights and product knowledge to support the creation of marketing materials, playing a hands-on role in the execution of marketing initiatives.

Ability to use and extend build tools like webpack

Familiarity with package managers such as NPM

Experience working with third-party APIs (Eg Stripe, Mailchimp, etc)

Competent with version control through git and GitHub

Ability to iterate and ship ideas quickly

Exceptional troubleshooting skills

Ability to keep complex ideas and features simple

Previous freelance or remote work experience

Preferred

Advanced proficiency in JavaScript frameworks like VueJS or React

Experience with e-commerce platforms or related APIs (WooCommerce, Stripe, PayPal, etc)

Experience with DevOps or infrastructure management
