Responsibilities

Hands on Process Engineer needed for on-site position within engineering department in a manufacturing facility known for excellence in the wire and cable industry.

Develop, implement, and optimize cost-effective manufacturing processes in accordance with product specifications and quality standards.

Provide technical support for all departments, follow and document process conditions for samples, and assist in problem-solving to reduce downtime.

Create and implement manufacturing and engineering processes for new or existing products, analyze scrap trends, and lead efforts to improve efficiencies and product quality.

Maintain a presence in the factory to troubleshoot manufacturing processes and equipment, develop optimized process standards and procedures, and cross-train with other engineering departments.
