Responsibilities

Design and configure complete network solutions using Cisco Meraki products, including wireless LANs, and switches.

Implement network solutions in corporate environments, ensuring seamless connectivity and integration with existing systems.

Conduct site surveys and create wireless heat maps to ensure optimal placement of access points and maximum coverage.

Optimize wireless channels and power settings to enhance network performance and reduce interference.

Plan and deploy network configurations that support eduroam, facilitating secure, global Wi-Fi access for the academic community.

Utilize the Meraki dashboard to monitor, configure, and maintain wireless, switching, security, and SD-WAN solutions.

Monitor network performance to ensure high availability and reliability, and adjust configurations as needed to optimize performance.

Provide expert-level troubleshooting for complex network issues across Meraki hardware and software, including challenges related to wireless coverage.

Implement and manage security policies and practices across the Meraki infrastructure to safeguard data and comply with regulatory requirements.

Lead wireless and wired network projects from conception to deployment, ensuring they meet all technical requirements and are delivered on time.

Collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to identify network needs and provide solutions that support organizational goals.

Maintain detailed documentation of the network setup, configurations, and procedures for troubleshooting and compliance.

Prepare reports on network status, project progress, and incident resolutions for management and team members.
