Responsibilities
Assist the PI with analysis of data and writing of scientific manuscripts and grants.
Perform a variety of tasks as a member of a translational research team focusing on HIV and TB.
Communicate effectively within a team of investigators, research specialists, and the PI.
Conduct data analysis and scientific writing.
Explore and visualize data in R, including analysis of cohort study data and 'omics data.
Draft concept sheets for data analysis projects, including background literature searches and sample size calculations.
Conduct study design, study analysis, and data collection sections.
Perform organizational functions required by the team, such as data cleaning and management.

Required
A Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years data analyst experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Outstanding skills as scientific writer
Expert in R data analysis and visualization
Previous scientific publications in medicine as primary analyst and at least secondary contributor
Preferred
At least 2 years of experience as a medical research assistant
