Responsibilities
Provide fact based information to support strategic direction on products to Senior Management, Brand Managers, and Category Managers based on Market Research, Syndicated Data Analysis, Customer Point of Sale data and Competitive Intelligence
Provide strategic additional support to Category Management team through data capture, data analysis, and planogram development
Be able to function autonomously and make decisions independently working with commercial business unit leaders
Develop and meet with retailers to outline specific strategies to optimize product mix, shelf/display space, merchandising tools and price promotions to more effectively reach targeted consumers
Conduct in-depth analysis of customer data that include new distribution, promotion, trends and competitive analysis, pricing and promotion effectiveness
Manage and communicate knowledge of Competitive Product, Performance, and Business Trends. Use Competitive knowledge to provide Brand and Category Managers product recommendations
Work closely with sales organization on new products and feedback from sales representatives and sales management
Provide technical analysis of pricing and promotional strategy
Builds market share and increases sales/profit
Must understand and demonstrate safe work practices at all times to ensure a safe work environment
Develop and deliver seamless data solution tools for Nielsen, IRI and other external data sources
Comply with all company policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned

Required
B.S. or B.A required
7+ years of relevant work experience
Experience handling & managing confidential data provided from syndicated data
7+ years’ experience in analyzing and interpreting data and team/project management experience
Excellent communication skills - both oral and written
Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
Ability to manage multiple tasks/strong organizational skills
Strong knowledge of MS Office, strong Excel skills
Work with syndicated data (IRI, Nielsen)
Knowledge of shelf planogram software (JDA, Apollo, Spaceman, etc)
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization
Preferred
Preferred work experience includes: category management, customer marketing and or sales experience
