Responsibilities
Support Microgrid Commercial Sales Teams in customer engagements through solutions development, technical and economic option analysis, commercial execution options, and proposal development.
Facilitate coordination among Schneider Electric sales, consulting, power systems and microgrid controls line of business and execution teams.
Request and review customer documentation (single line drawings, energy interval data, load profiles, utility bills, site plans, etc.).
Develop conceptual microgrid designs around customer requirements for switchgear, controls and various DER (solar PV, battery energy storage, rotating machines, combined heat and power (CHP) systems, fuel cells, etc. as appropriate to the project.
Provide customer-facing project support, including client presentations, energy modeling and tariff analysis.

Required
Proven experience in proposal development for complex technical projects.
Strong understanding of microgrid technologies, including PV systems, generators, fuel cells, battery energy storage, microgrid controls and optimization.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Experience with energy modeling software (e.g., Energy ToolBase, HelioScope, HOMER, ReOpt, Xendee, custom Excel modeling, etc.) a plus
Familiarity with renewable technology and system design, electrical infrastructure equipment design and specification (low and medium voltage), site electrification
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
5+ years of experience in microgrid design and implementation.
Experience in solution architecting
Proven track record presenting to C-level business executives.
