Responsibilities

Leading, managing, and growing teams of engineers iterating on insurance products and APIs

Partnering with cross-functional teams to research and prioritize strategy and technical goals

Providing technical guidance, feedback, and ensuring high-quality system design and product delivery

Collaborating with engineering leaders to improve processes and culture

Analyzing data and ensuring platform capabilities in terms of security, scale, performance, and uptime

Required

10+ years of experience building and shipping software

4+ years of experience leading, growing, and inspiring engineering teams

Managed complex data integrations with third parties and internal APIs, preferably with AWS based distributed systems

Lead successful teams and have a track record of helping engineers and managers grow in their careers

Forged strong product partnerships and keen business understanding

Experience leveraging data science and machine learning to build scalable solutions

Worked in regulated environments and have experience data secure and safe

Humility, a strong bias toward action, and exceptional accountability

Preferred

Healthcare experience is a huge plus, especially with insurance and claims data
