Responsibilities
Work with the data products team on the core metric platform for centralized reporting for all games.
Utilize Snowflake warehouse with heavy DBT core workflow and improvement opportunities.
Provide expertise in DBT proficiency, including best practices, process improvement, and optimizations.
Code in Python for 50% of the time and engage in documentation, ETLs, and Git for the other 50%.
Engage in self-directed work and complete assigned tasks efficiently.

Required
8+ years of data engineering experience
5+ years of experience with DBT Core (not DBT Cloud) conducting macros, models, unity cases, upgrades etc.
Proficiency in Snowflake warehouse
5+ years of experience in ETL orchestration and workflow management tools, designing data pipelines (both large and small), and processing code for scalability and performance
Strong understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL/ELT/EtLT pipelines
Git/Gitlab/Github experience
Airflow workflow experience
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python (preferred) or SQL (cloud, not local)
Experience using containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to simplify and synthesize complex constructs
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Preferred
Knowledge or experience in Data mesh or Data Lake House Designs
