Responsibilities
Review incoming warranty claims data daily, review customer and dealership comments, bin claims into proper categories, contact dealerships for parts and repair diagnoses, participate in customer call back to ensure proper understanding of customer inputs in Quality surveys, review returned parts for root cause analysis and develop Interim Containment and Permanent Corrective Actions.
Support assembly plant with Stop Ships/Stop Builds, Campaigns, Audits, Root Cause Analysis and other Quality issues.
Maintain sub-system or Vehicle Functional Group (VFG) level Quality documents and drive the achievement of quality targets.

Required
Bachelors of Science in Engineering
2+ years of experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
Demonstrated technical problem-solving skills
Ability to establish a systems-engineering approach to problem-solving
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
Excellent presentation/communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Engineering Problem Solving; root cause identification and analysis, developing Containment Actions and Permanent Corrective Actions
Working in a fast-paced, challenging environment
Preferred
Six-Sigma Training (green belt or black belt)
Experience in automotive or manufacturing industry
Experience with automotive systems, especially chassis, suspension, braking, powertrain
Experience with Change Management
