Responsibilities

Perform charging product hardware/firmware interoperability testing with EV’s and our cloud control and monitoring platform.
Perform hands on setup, testing and validation of Ford Pro Charging products (hardware & system).
Development and documentation of Ford Pro Charging’s product test requirements and procedures.
Document and communicate product test results and reports.
Drive development of test tool and fixture design requirements and operation.
Coordinate testing activities w/ Ford or 3rd party test labs as needed.
Coordinate first release testing of hardware and/or firmware updates prior to deployment to beta test sites.
Support evaluation of product failures analysis and root cause assessments.

Required

BS or MS in Mechatronics, Electrical or Software Engineering.
3+ years of experience with data acquisition and automated testing tools and equipment.
2+ years of test & validation professional experience.

Preferred

3+ years experience with testing and validation of EVSE equipment.
Working knowledge and understanding of EVSE standards including UL 2231, UL 2594, SAE J1772, SAE J2953, ISO 15118, OCPP.
Experience with advanced EVSE Test Equipment and grid simulators.
Strong interest in helping grow electric vehicle technology and charging technology.
