Responsibilities
Perform engineering calculations to determine structural sufficiency of telecommunications infrastructure, buildings, and other various structures. Retrofit towers and their foundations if deemed necessary.
Produce various drawings, designs and/or reports concerning engineering evaluation, inspection, and opinion of various structures.
Create and modify tools to aid and accelerate the engineering analysis process.
Work with clients regarding technical specifications, project options and alternatives, field issues and project revisions
Collaborate with Drafters and Project Coordinators on drawing specifications and project details.
Participate in meetings of a technical nature, including client deliverable updates, industry analyses, design standards and training updates.
Perform related responsibilities as required or assigned.

Required
Technical Knowledge – Proven knowledge of various structural materials, including steel and concrete
Time Management – Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
Communication Skills – Proven oral and written communication skills, with the ability to provide technical information by phone or email in a professional manner
Customer Service – Adept at assisting and solving problems for customers with a sense of urgency
Computer Skills – Proficiency in the use of structural analysis tools, drafting, spreadsheet, email, database, word processing, and presentation software (e.g., tnxTower, AutoCAD, RISA 3D, MS Office)
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical or Architectural Engineering with a Structural focus from an accredited university
Preferred
Telecom experience a plus, but not required
