Responsibilities

Design, develop, and manage all aspects of our Shopify eCommerce store, including UI/UX enhancements, new features development, and performance optimization.

Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to transform requirements into compelling, appropriate, and effective online experiences.

Develop and optimize Shopify Liquid templates, JavaScript, CSS, and other technologies to deliver desired site functionality.

Implement third-party solutions and apps as needed to support the eCommerce operations.

Test and optimize sites for seamless performance across browsers and devices.

Monitor site performance and handle any issues or bugs that arise.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices and new technologies in Shopify development to drive continuous innovation.

Required

A minimum of 5 years of professional experience with Shopify platform, including expertise in Shopify’s proprietary scripting language, Liquid.

Extensive knowledge of modern web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design.

Experience in working with APIs, specifically for integrations with third-party platforms.

Proficiency in using Git or other version control systems.

Strong understanding of SEO principles and ensuring the application adheres to them.

Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on innovative and creative solutions.

Strong attention to detail, project management, and organizational skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical team members.

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

A portfolio showcasing successful projects with a focus on the candidate's direct contributions.
