Responsibilities

Enhance the platform and protect customers from potential fraud in the financial automation sector.
Collaborate with peer developers, product managers, designers, architects, data scientists, and business partners to define and develop fraud detection systems.
Lead operational initiatives and mentor other engineers in best practices and technical concepts.
Ensure the development and maintenance of large-scale, high-volume, high-availability, low-latency systems.
Adhere to security, compliance, and regulatory requirements in the development process.
Contribute to building key components for the risk platform to support the payment business.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 10 years of experience in software engineering in one or more programming languages (e.g. Java, Python, Elixir)
2 years people management experience with at least 5 years experience leading operational initiatives
Expertise in building and maintaining large-scale, high-volume, high-availability, low-latency systems.
Strong understanding of security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
Demonstrated experience in the payment industry or in developing fraud detection applications.
Ability to mentor and guide other engineers in best practices and advanced technical concepts.
Familiarity with machine learning model integration and data pipeline design.

Preferred

Experience in front-end or full-stack development.
