Responsibilities
Create, document, and manage business conceptual data artifacts, such as conceptual models, critical data element inventory, and define the data based on business usage
Manage data requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation processes to capture business needs
Manage and understand business process efforts that involve data manipulation through business rules and produce data outputs
Communicate effectively with business partners to inform and influence important decisions required regarding strategic data direction
Promote data governance and architecture
Serve as a liaison between Business and Functional areas and technology to ensure that data related business requirements are created for all other policies and standards that apply to data such as privacy, security, and risk
Assist Governance Team in capturing metrics that provide insights into the effectiveness of data analysis and requirements
Rationalize and coordinate external data sources to eliminate redundancy and streamline the expense related to those services
Identify and aggregate internal and external data sources
Coordinate with data owners/stewards to ensure appropriate data accessibility and quality
Perform other duties as assigned

Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical degree
Typically 5+ years experience in a major services organization, with large-scale data management efforts and oversight
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze complex data, summarize and effectively communicate and present the data
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of industry leading data analysis and requirements practices
Knowledge of data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data policies
A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
Master's Degree in Computer Science or related preferred
Experience or knowledge of the Informatica Tools; specifically, EDC, Axon and DPM preferred, but not required
Relevant certifications in product management, machine learning, data science, and other disciplines a plus
