Responsibilities

Ensure proper reserving to achieve compliance with corporate policy.

Management of TPA relationship and oversight of TPA handled claims, providing guidance on coverage, investigation, and evaluation.

Conduct TPA file reviews and audits, as required.

Conduct internal file reviews and audits, as required.

Oversight of complex and high exposure claims in litigation, including strategizing with defense counsel and experts.

Approve TPA Large Loss Reports and keep a diary for all Trial Alerts.

Manage claims-related data, intelligence, and information to improve loss outcomes and provide insight into claim trends.

Create a strong relationship with Captive and Program members while ensuring excellent customer service.

Required

Must possess high level skills and extensive claims technical knowledge Primarily Commercial Auto and liability claims.

Litigation experience in Commercial Auto Bodily Injury claims with an emphasis on Transportation claims.

Experience with general liability or other lines of claims a plus.

Must possess expert analytical, decision making, negotiation, problem-solving, project management, organizational, and teamwork skills.

Willing to adapt and learn new lines of business.

Must demonstrate superior written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.

Demonstrated strategic thinking capabilities.

Demonstrated proficiency with computer software including Microsoft Office suite and other Claims tracking tools.

Preferred

Bachelor's degree required.

Minimum of 10 years of in Commercial Auto, preferably in Transportation and some Liability claims experience or related insurance education/experience.
