Responsibilities

Develop and manage detailed engineering designs and specifications for various projects.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet client requirements and adhere to industry standards.
Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and technical analyses to support project planning.
Oversee the execution of engineering projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Coordinate with project managers and construction teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions.
Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams, ensuring high-quality and innovative solutions.
Mentor junior engineers, fostering their professional growth and development.
Review and approve technical documents, drawings, and specifications.
Ensure that engineering activities comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Implement best practices in engineering processes to enhance project outcomes and efficiency.
Conduct regular quality reviews and audits to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Serve as a key technical liaison between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
Address client concerns, provide regular updates, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in engineering processes and solutions.
Lead initiatives to incorporate new technologies and methodologies into project work.
Document lessons learned and apply insights to enhance future project performance.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design records, technical reports, and change logs.
Prepare and present technical reports, progress updates, and project status to stakeholders.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or a related field)
Minimum of 8 years of experience in engineering roles within the construction, industrial, or manufacturing sectors
Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and project management tools like MS Project
Deep understanding of engineering principles, design standards, and construction practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Capable of performing complex technical analyses and developing innovative solutions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively
Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as required

Preferred

Experience in the oil and gas, power generation, or manufacturing industries
Experience in project management and execution within engineering contexts
Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement methodologies
Demonstrated ability to drive technical innovation and improvements in engineering projects
