Responsibilities
Maintains an understanding of Origami’s business processes and the application systems/infrastructure that supports them. This will include Salesforce, CPQ and Salesforce/Internal tool integrations.
Develops utilizing Declarative and Programmatic tools including Apex, Aura, Lightning Web Components, and Flow to extend Salesforce in order to support business requirements.
Performs application development and assists with each release cycle to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code.
Understands how to utilize Connected Apps with REST API. Able to understand the integration points between the two systems to extend functionality using declarative and programmatic solutions.
Gathers, analyzes, and documents functional and technical requirements for new projects, enhancements to existing solutions, and production issues reported by end users via internal ticketing system.
Adheres to Salesforce best practices, maintains code documentation, identifies and fixes security gaps, and writes and maintains test classes for all custom development.
Collaborates with Salesforce Administrators to validate business requirements and any considerations (security, scalability, limits).
Owns release cycles to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code.
Collaborates with IT, Development, and CISO for other systems in order to integrate across the business.

Required
3+ years’ experience in Salesforce Development
Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification required
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or business-related field
Proficient with Microsoft Visual Studio and the Salesforce development lifecycle
Strong understanding of CPQ
Preferred
Additional Salesforce Certifications preferred:
- Salesforce Platform App Builder
- Salesforce Industries CPQ Developer
