Responsibilities
Automated Testing: Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Cypress in JavaScript to validate the functionality, performance, and scalability of software applications.
Test Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop test strategies and create comprehensive test plans for various software components.
Continuous Integration (CI) Setup: Utilize GitHub Actions and CircleCI to set up and maintain continuous integration workflows.
Test Execution and Reporting: Execute automated test suites in CI environments, analyze test results, and report defects with clear explanations.
Bug Identification and Triage: Identify, document, and prioritize software defects using issue tracking tools like Jira.
Test Environment Management: Collaborate with the infrastructure team to manage and maintain test environments.
Test Automation Framework: Contribute to the improvement and expansion of the test automation framework.
Code Review and Best Practices: Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality test code.
Test Documentation: Create and maintain test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test data.
Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies related to test automation and quality assurance.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Proven experience in software quality engineering for a Cloud-based SaaS product, with a focus on test automation using Cypress and JavaScript
Familiarity with CI/CD tools GitHub Actions and CircleCI, with the ability to set up and maintain automated testing pipelines.
Solid programming skills in JavaScript and understanding of software development principles. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) is desirable.
Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and debug test failures effectively.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, globally-diverse and agile environment. The team works EST/CST US timezone business hours.
Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in testing efforts.
Able to adapt quickly to changing requirements and project priorities.
