Responsibilities

Design and develop embedded software systems across Drive train, Accessories, and Android

Collaborate with product management, mechanical, and electrical teams to understand user behavior and derive requirements

Integrate new sensors, improve control systems, implement and debug features

Collaborate with software, backend, and design teams to drive feature implementation

Work with manufacturing to ensure product data availability and quality standards are met

Establish best practices for development, test, and deployment

Maintain high standards for product quality, safety, and user experience

Required

10+ years firmware development experience

Expert C development - experience in C++, Java, Python is also valuable

Experience with BLDC/PMSM motor control

Experience with safety critical systems and communication protocols

Experience with sensors and actuators

Firm knowledge of embedded development best practices and tools

Creative problem solver who is not afraid to push the boundaries and think differently

High attention to detail

Great oral and written communication skills

Team player with high integrity and high degree of self-awareness

Open to feedback and constantly striving to improve

Preferred

Experience with Bluetooth and BLE is also valuable
