Responsibilities

Ensuring software quality compliance with product specifications through manual and automated testing for component, sanity, integration, regression, and performance testing.

Defining and writing test plans and test cases based on product specifications and business rules.

Developing and maintaining automation test scripts using approved frameworks.

Interpreting and reporting test results, documenting defects, and analyzing to determine causes.

Maintaining the test case database, updating test cases and scripts as per product enhancements.

Determining tests to automate, prioritizing, and creating performance testing scenarios.

Supporting and guiding team members, reviewing test cases and performing code reviews.

Being responsible for functional and performance testing across software development projects.

Becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for application test scripts.
