Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions for the Starknet ecosystem.
Work closely with distributed team members to set clear roadmaps and milestones.
Work closely with Starknet community members to develop and integrate solutions.
Write high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code.

Required

Strong Proficiency in Rust (or systems level language)
Working knowledge of core blockchain protocol design
Ability to work with new programming languages, tools, and environments
Demonstrated ability to write clean, testable, and efficient code

Preferred

Experience with blockchain protocols, particularly Ethereum and Starknet
Experience with open-source development
Experience with protocol development in production
Proficiency in Rust or similar systems level language
Ethereum experience (contract or infra)
Understanding complex problems and designing solutions
Passion for open-source projects: The candidate should have an interest in contributing to open-source projects and should have some experience with open-source tools and technologies
Collaboration skills: Since we work in collaboration with the community, the candidate should have excellent communication skills and be comfortable working with others in a team environment
Openness to learning: The candidate should be willing to learn new technologies, tools, and methodologies
Community engagement: The candidate should be comfortable engaging with the community, be it in online forums, meetups, or conferences
Familiarity with project management: The candidate should have a basic understanding of project management principles, including agile methodologies, and be able to articulate a roadmap and set clear goals for the project
Passion for teaching and mentoring: Since we onboard new developers, the candidate should have a willingness to teach and mentor others and have experience in doing so
Passion for continuous improvement: The candidate should have a growth mindset, be willing to learn from mistakes and feedback, and continuously improve their skills and knowledge
Respect for diversity and inclusion: Our team may have members from different backgrounds and cultures, so the candidate should be respectful of diversity and inclusion and be able to work effectively in a multicultural environment
