Responsibilities

Identify, qualify, and nurture opportunities until they become happy customers. Lead bid teams to prepare proposals in response to RFPs.
Use a consultative selling approach, bringing technical experts and partners to shape solutions to customer requirements, and structure and negotiate agreements end-to-end.
Stay up-to-date on competition and market trends, detect new threats and opportunities, and create and maintain relationships with space industry professionals.
Contribute to the product roadmap through insights from market understanding. Support the Customer Success team and Marketing team in delivering extraordinary service and creating campaigns.
Provide strategic thinking, quick learning ability, and effective communication with technical and business stakeholders. Build relationships inside and outside the team.
Travel to meet clients and attend industry events, based in or willing to relocate to the Denver area.

Required

At least a Bachelors degree in aerospace engineering or other engineering disciplines.
At least 3 years of experience in the space industry.
Proven ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
Strategic thinking and quick learning ability.
Accountable, energetic, hands-on problem solver with sharp attention to detail.
Natural ability to build relationships inside and outside the team.
Willingness to travel to meet clients and attend industry events.
Based in, or willing to relocate to the Denver area.

Preferred

Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in sales or business development.
Experience in cloud-based enterprise software.
Start-up or scale-up experience, comfortable operating in a fast-changing environment.
Proven top-notch negotiation and persuasion skills.
Fluency in English and French, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Exposure to both established and NewSpace organisations.
