Responsibilities

Coordinates the organization's Magnet® processes and serves as the onsite expert for nursing designations.

Facilitates the integration of professional nursing concepts into various programs and initiatives.

Coordinates and facilitates education related to the Magnet® model and nursing professional practice.

Participates in evaluation of nursing quality data and application of evidence-based practices.

Promotes professional growth of nurses through mentoring and integration of evidence-based practice.

Required

Current RN License in the state in which they are working or covered by compact

Bachelor of Science Nursing

Master of Science, Nursing or related healthcare field

5 years of related experience including 2 years in leadership role (formal/informal) with significant impact nursing outcomes

Previous experience and knowledge with the Magnet or Pathways to Excellence recognition programs

Preferred

Post-graduate or DNP

Nurse leader or professional development

Experience As a Magnet Program Director

ANCC Adam and Adam Plus on-line submission platform
