Responsibilities
Engage in various field works including groundwater sampling, soil sampling/soil boring logs, drilling oversight, and sediment sampling.
Write specific technical sections or reports and plans as assigned.
Provide on-the-job training for other geoscientists and participate in Department courses and exercises.
Ensure project compliance with technical specifications and standard operating procedures.
Supervise subcontractors in the field and provide recommendations to supervisors regarding potential problems in project technical quality.
Evaluate and interpret environmental data and prepare data tabulation, evaluation, and technical reports.
