Responsibilities

Conduct conceptual, preliminary, and final detailed design of new, upgraded, and expanded substations.

Handle material procurement tasks and provide construction and commissioning/startup support.

Develop and deliver physical, electrical, civil, and communication design studies, calculations, drawings, exhibits, and specifications.

Be responsible for the QA/QC of primary substation design and mentor less experienced engineers.

Coordinate and complete Distribution studies, transmission studies, and grounding studies as well as protection (relay coordination and settings).
