Responsibilities
Collaborate effectively with subject matter experts to define learning objectives.
Perform needs analysis and evaluate existing documentation to identify the most appropriate training approach and content to meet the demands of the learning objectives and audience.
Plan and write content for training programs using instructional and distribution methods (online, classroom, or blended) that best suit the content.
Create engaging and valid trainee evaluation tools that prove successful knowledge transfer.
Build processes and templates to minimize the development time for new training materials, and to help others participate in our development cycle.
Help maintain existing programs to ensure the content remains complete and relevant.
Communicate effectively with adjacent teams.

Required
1-3 years of relevant experience
Knowledge and application of instructional theories, adult learning, on-the-job learning, knowledge management theories, and principles in both online and classroom instruction
Experience as a technical writer and background in any educational environment, with a desire and aptitude to learn about instructional design
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently
Fluency in all Microsoft Office applications, HTML, and Photoshop
Preferred
Experience using e-learning software, such as Captivate or Viewlet Builder
