Responsibilities
Design and engineering of electrical substations including layout, specifications, and calculations.
Preparation of detailed design drawings, schematics, and diagrams using CAD software.
Conducting feasibility studies and technical assessments for new and existing substations.
Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
Performing site visits and inspections to assess project requirements and constraints.
Providing technical support during construction, commissioning, and maintenance phases.
Adhering to industry standards, codes, and regulations in all design processes.

Required
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
At least 5 years of proven experience in substation design and engineering.
Proficiency in CAD software for design and drafting (AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.).
Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work within deadlines.
Preferred
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.
