Responsibilities

Provides a safe working environment and ensures compliance with health, safety, and environmental procedures.
Oversees company goals, policies, and regulations, maintaining GMP compliance.
Attends production meetings, supervises staff, and ensures production schedule requirements are met.
Develops, evaluates, and identifies training needs of staff, coordinates with production staff, and establishes operational goals.
Manages departmental budgets, hiring, training, and performance management processes.
Identifies hazards, establishes strategies for quality plans, and drives continuous improvements through Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Supports prototype and pilot production, develops standard practices, and performs other duties as instructed by management.

Required

High school education or equivalent.
B.E. specializing in Machine Tool Technology, Mechanical or Electrical is required; Master’s Degree preferred
5+ years’ experience in Engineering Management role; preferably in cosmetics process manufacturing or an FDA regulated industry.
7+ years’ experience in industrial mechanic role; preferably in cosmetics process manufacturing or an FDA regulated industry.
Mechanical aptitude to understand the use of pumps and other equipment used in the filling of products.
Extensive knowledge of power and hand tools to perform job functions.
Proven work experience with various specific equipment used in the industry.
Strong English communications skills: speaking, reading, and writing.
Strong math and analytical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Able to work independently and as a team player.
Self-Management: Display initiative, effort excellent organizational and planning skills, and commitment towards completing assignments in a timely manner.
Teamwork: Build and sustain cooperative working relationships and have strong leadership skills and ability.
Achieving thoroughness and accuracy in completing multiple prioritized projects.
Problem Solving: Identify options for solving a problem and evaluate the strengths and weaknesses.
Good time-management skills
Flexibility to work long hours during peak season or special schedules as needed to satisfy job requirements.
Constantly work to improve processes.
Makes suggestions for improvements.
Communicates and collaborates with management.

Preferred

Extensive PC Knowledge i.e. MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is preferred.
