Responsibilities
Use investigative methods and automated tools to resolve duplicates and exceptions in patient identity fields.
Perform relevant edits on patient identity fields.
Collaborate with medical centers, system developers, and business owners to improve the validity of Identity Management (IdM) information.
Design system enhancements and implement process improvements to support identity management.
Coordinate activities among various individuals, groups, and sites within a large organization.

Required
Experience in IdM
Familiarity with IdM systems
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and see projects to their successful completion
Outstanding computer skills
Communicating clearly, promptly, and diplomatically
Ability to coordinate activities among various individuals, groups, and sites within a large organization
Thrives in a cooperative virtual work environment
Works well with others, maintaining a professional and positive attitude
Enthusiastic about learning new skills and willing to ask questions in order to learn
Treating project team members and clients with respect
Sense of discretion in handling sensitive situations and information
Comfortable working behind the scenes and taking a support role
Flexible and adaptable to different modes of work
Experience with large health data sets
Bachelor’s degree in health information management or a related field
RHIA or RHIT (RHIA preferred)
Relevant experience in the health care field
