Responsibilities

Contributing to complex engagements and working directly with clients and the Design Engineering team

Conceptualizing system designs and determining system requirements

Providing technical expertise and coordination information to support the architecture, installation, and planning of electronic security solutions

Developing ESS project estimates, proposals, and detailed drawings

Researching, identifying, and recommending technology options for clients

Maintaining expertise in the industry through ongoing learning and participation in educational forums

Providing direction and counsel to junior personnel in engineering projects

Required

Must live in the Milwaukee /Chicago area

High school diploma or GED required

Associates degree required and/or equivalent experience

Proficient in AutoCAD, BIM and MS Office 365

Certifications or training within Milestone and Lenel required

Bachelor’s degree preferred

5+ years of experience in technical systems designing

Ability to get a government issued Top Secret Clearance (US-based only)

A clear understanding of project phases Program, Conceptualization, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documentation, Construction and Commissioning

A thorough, demonstrable understanding of the construction process, installation and integration as well as architectural and construction drawings and specifications
