Responsibilities

Manages production schedule and executes jobs for data production.

Serves as an in-house expert on the membership portion of the SI Advancement CRM.

Collaborates with business users across Smithsonian Institution membership teams to troubleshoot and resolve membership systems issues.

Writes program design specifications, participates in data management, writes custom SQL, drafts and executes test plans, and maintains technical documentation.

Runs production jobs, verifies output and record counts, ensures data accuracy, and timely, secure delivery of files.

Required

Strong SQL (PL/SQL or TOAD), Python, JavaScript, and Microsoft Office skills

Familiarity with SSIS, SSRS, ETL tools, Tableau, and Salesforce environments

Knowledge of and experience with the systems development life cycle, quality assurance, managing multiple deadlines, completing priorities, and demonstrating superior organization skills

Experience with large, complex membership program(s)

Preferred

Familiarity with Salesforce environments and/or a Salesforce conversion

Applicants who wish to qualify based on education completed outside the United States must be deemed equivalent to higher education programs of U.S. Institutions by an organization that specializes in the interpretation of foreign educational credentials
