Responsibilities
Develop CNC programs using MasterCAM for mills/lathes based on engineering drawings and models.
Configure tools and ensure efficient production.
Analyze drawings, blueprints, and design data to calculate correct part dimensions for machines, tool selection, machine speeds, and feed rates.
Monitor output and proper operation of mechanical equipment.
Make mechanical and/or program adjustments to ensure parts meet quantity and quality requirements.
Use precision measuring instruments including micrometers and calipers, and fixtures and gauges to check work.
Read Instrumentation and gauges to accurately measure dimensions on parts within a .001 tolerance.
Communicate recommendations to modify processes to improve productivity and quality.

Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 10+ years of CNC machining experience
Minimum 3+ years of MasterCam or other Programming Language
Experience programming in MasterCAM or other CNC programming Software
Proficient understanding of G-code programming
Experience setting up and troubleshooting CNC machines
Able to demonstrate good manufacturing practices and be able to select tooling and machining resources for manufacture of parts
Strong mathematical skills
Blueprint with GD&T reading capabilities
Able to read instrumentation and gauges for measurement purposes
Able to work under own initiative
Discretion, confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to work in a team environment
