Responsibilities
Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems
Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks
Guide and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and requirements
Inspect completed installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operations and safety standards
Identify engineered resolutions to recurring electrical issues
Ensure compliance with international, federal, and state regulations
Maintain legacy code
Help design and implement new software solutions
Low-level microcontroller coding
Programming languages: C, C++, C#
Experience with Windows
Linux experience a plus
Experience with Atmel/Microchip microcontrollers
Other duties or projects as assigned
Experience with Altium
Experience with QT

Required
BS in Software Engineering or BS in Electrical Engineering with a software experience preferred
1-2 years of software or electrical engineering experience required
High School diploma a minimum
Experience with low-voltage wiring
Ability to use test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters
Programming languages: C, C++, C#
Experience with Windows
Experience with Atmel/Microchip microcontrollers
Maintain legacy code
Help design and implement new software solutions
Low-level microcontroller coding
Understand and follow specifications, schematic diagrams, and process instructions in order to assemble and repair electro-mechanical components and sub-assemblies
Preferred
BS in Software Engineering or BS in Electrical Engineering with a software experience preferred
Linux experience a plus
Experience with Altium
Experience with QT
If no undergraduate degree candidate must show at least 5 years of experience in the respected field
Demonstrates ability to work successfully as part of a team
Demonstrated leadership skills and abilities
