Responsibilities

Leading sourcing activities including identifying suppliers, evaluating capabilities, and selecting suitable ones

Managing quoting, purchase orders, lead times, and deliveries of purchased components

Conducting cost analyses, negotiations, and implementing cost-effective strategies

Ensuring suppliers meet quality standards and addressing issues promptly

Contributing to cross-functional teams, managing projects, and driving continuous improvement

Managing print packet and PPAP project plan with engineering

Working with minimal technical supervision and responding efficiently to multiple program priorities

Collaborating with 3rd party suppliers to improve products, processes, and material specifications

Analyzing customer requirements and preparing documents for purchase materials

Coordinating with vendors to reduce costs of components and finished products

Driving value/cost improvement projects and managing communication with global sourcing team

Ensuring current projected costs are in place and managing PPAP/Pre-Production launch plan

Ensuring product quality in accordance with requirements and providing prompt engineering resolution/support
