Responsibilities
Own the data analytics and data science efforts for our developer pillar and our marketing efforts.
Ensure that the work your team produces is technically sound, impactful, and can have an impact on Circle's business. This includes going deep when necessary and working with your team to effectively communicate results.
Providing the feedback that will help improve your team's work and help members of the team grow.
Be a trusted partner to our product, engineering, business development, and marketing teams and work with them to make the best decisions possible for Circle.
Build the appropriate rituals and structures to run a smooth running, organized, and impactful team.
Partner with other data leaders to build a world-class data team

Required
7+ years of experience in data analysis or data science, with 3+ years managing both reporting functions and analytics/data science functions.
Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language, such as R or Python, for data manipulation and analysis.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Uses data to speak the truth, even if that truth is inconvenient.
Ability to effectively partner cross functionally
Gives team timely and direct feedback to help them improve
