Responsibilities
Proficiently manage the P&L to maximize profits and minimize expenses.
Develop and maintain subject matter expertise regarding all aspects of the product and the end-to-end client experience through the entire lifecycle from acquisition to onboarding through engagement and retention.
Continuously monitor the marketplace for emerging trends relative to cash back card products, specifically those with flat earn reward structures, and recommend enhancements to ensure competitiveness, maximize growth and optimize profitability.
Leverage tools such as Comscore, Competiscan & Argus to consistently observe and evaluate competitor communications throughout the lifecycle and their performance against the industry as a benchmark for PNC.
Conduct regular consumer research to keep a finger on the pulse of the existing client base and their preferences, likes and dislikes relative to the product.
Drive business and financial results through the selection, design, development, and promotion of new and existing products or experiences utilizing traditional and emerging capabilities in technology, operations, and data analytics to offer customers a differentiated product experience.
Use knowledge of emerging technologies to deliver products to customers through all applicable channels. Prioritize and make decisions regarding product recommendations. Develop business case, business plan, and roll-out of specific products or experiences.
Monitor the marketplace to assess product, technology, and market trends to identify a market need or opportunity. Recommend new products or enhancements to existing products or experiences and develop and design innovative features. Manage the development, production, roll-out, pricing or promotion of specific products, and recognize, anticipate and resolve operational and process problems that arise.
Partner with key stakeholders including sales, marketing, digital channel delivery, and other internal service partners. Participate in client-facing and external stakeholder activities to ensure all product offerings or experiences meet strategic goals. Develop product-specific marketing initiatives. Support risk management, compliance, and audit needs as part of the first line of defense.
Drive business, financial, and customer experience results of new and existing products and recommend modifications in product features and/or marketing to improve results.
