Responsibilities
Work directly with the IRAD Project Principal Investigator to initiate, plan, monitor & control, execute, and close research projects that are part of the overall CHO portfolio
Initiate FREDD funding requests for the annual budget allocation
Develop the requisite charge number structure and issue work authorization directives to the affected personnel
Participate in weekly planning and execution meetings and progress/demonstration events for the Office of Technology’s Technology Integration team
Perform period-specific financial reviews, including estimate-at-complete (EAC) updates, and other financial management functions
Support the PI to develop and manage the project’s Prism page, Confluence page, roadmaps and deliverables trackers, and other project-specific actions
Support the CHO IRAD Program Management Office and PM Community of Practice, which functions as a team to ensure uniform approaches and back-up support for each project

Required
Experience in managing research projects
Ability to work directly with project stakeholders to initiate, plan, monitor & control, execute, and close projects
Experience in financial management functions such as estimate-at-complete (EAC) updates
Ability to develop and manage project documentation and trackers
Supporting program management offices and communities of practice
Familiarity with project management tools like Prism and Confluence
Participation in planning and execution meetings for project progress
Experience in initiating funding requests and budget allocation
Ability to develop charge number structures and issue work authorization directives
Participating in progress/demonstration events for technology integration teams
