Responsibilities
Perform chemical, in-vitro, or in-vivo biological assays of various samples in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Write, review, and approve protocols, reports, and investigations associated with the laboratory.
Provide time-sensitive in-process testing support for Operations.
Compile validation data into reports and work on analytical methods for new and existing products.
Conduct assays, analyze results, train analysts, and provide lab support.
Contribute to the development of new technologies, revise methods, and ensure compliance with regulations.
Make sound decisions under pressure and work collaboratively within Quality Control and across network channels.

Required
High School Diploma (or Equivalent) and 8 years of relevant experience
OR an associates degree with 6 years of experience
OR a bachelors with at least 3 years of experience
OR Masters with more than 1 year of experience
A minimum of a BS/BA in Chemistry or Biochemistry or Advanced degree preferred
5 years experience within Quality Control or other relevant analytical experience in the pharmaceutical industry
General lab equipment
Equipment troubleshooting
Making sound and effective decisions under pressure
Working with other manufacturing sites to understand a broader perspective
Exposure to Regulatory inspections including direct interactions
Ability to effectively work within Quality Control, and across network channels, to accomplish goals
Knowledge of ICH and other applicable industry standards
Understanding the principles of Data Integrity
Ability to perform mathematical calculations
Ability to perform complex data analysis
Preferred
Prior experience in most, if not all, of the following areas: Laboratory investigations, Change Control, test methods revision, protocol writing and approvals, analytical methods support for new product launches and existing marketed products, new measurement technologies implementation, and validation data compilation into reports
Experience in conducting assays, analyzing results, training & mentoring, lab support, SOPs and Admin
Experience in planning and execution of tasks to achieve routine goals, coordinating testing activities of the group, and making independent contributions to the development of new technologies and methods
Experience in developing and revising methods and procedures to assure compliance with applicable regulations, and carrying out technical and administrative duties as assigned
