Responsibilities
Create, manage, and grow business presence across social media channels, including blogs, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram.
Develop and execute a social media strategy to promote the Michigan Farm Bureau brand, products, events, and partnerships.
Perform day-to-day social media tasks, including posting content, responding to comments, and maintaining social network infrastructures.
Collaborate with centers and divisions to develop marketing and communications plans related to the agricultural industry.
Monitor social media posts by other agricultural stakeholders and share content on MFB's social media platforms.
Monitor social media analytics to identify user trends and adapt MFB's social media presence.
Develop standard operating procedures for county Farm Bureau social media efforts.
Work with the design team to create seasonal campaigns focused on agricultural education.
Utilize media kit content to promote important issues through social media channels.
Qualification

Required
Bachelor’s degree in communications or journalism required, or equivalent experience may be considered.
Three to five years of experience working in digital marketing or marketing operations required.
Experience in news editing, video production, photo editing, and digital design required.
Preferred
Web design experience preferred.
Experience with streaming media and public relations preferred.
